I bought my first Leica... Of course it's an M9!

 

I paired it with a 35mm 3.5 from 1960 that I bought off the original owner! 

Luckily the camera had the sensor replaced in 2017 confirmed by Leica. I called them on the phone and gave them the cameras serial number. Pretty nice of them to share that info with me. Most companies wont do that.

Congratulations and welcome to the forum! I'm sure you will enjoy your M9. It does have a few things that some people would call bugs, but they are all documented here on this forum, so they can actually be considered as features.
