Popular Post fotografr Posted June 22, 2022 Popular Post Share #1 Posted June 22, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) I photographed these guys with my MM1 just for fun a few years ago at the stand where they sell produce at our weekly farmers market. A couple of days ago someone contacted me about wanting to use the photo for a story about them in a local publication. I sent it and today I got an email asking if it might be available in color. I said it wasn't because I'd shot it with a monochrome camera body. Then I dug into the Photoshop "Help" section and found out how easy it is to colorize a b&w photo, so I sent that version to them this evening. They seemed to be as amazed as I was. Louis Posted June 22, 2022 Share #3 Posted June 22, 2022 Great job. I have done that in the past with old photos and it was a real fun; but the result was not as good.
fotografr Posted June 22, 2022 Author Share #4 Posted June 22, 2022 When I showed these to my wife her jaw really dropped. The thing that amazed me was how easy and fast it was.

carl_valiquet Posted June 27, 2022 Share #6 Posted June 27, 2022 Amazing colorization. But apart from that technical achievement I must say that you captured the two guys beautifully. They seem to enjoy their work and to be photographed. Well done in many ways. Regards. Carl

StS Posted August 17, 2022 Share #14 Posted August 17, 2022 Fun shot, brilliant portrait. My preference would be black and white in this case. Stefan

Stefan Thanks. I also prefer the b&w. I was kind of forced into doing the colorization by the publication.
