Advertisement (gone after registration)

Just received a Q2M and I could have sworn that out of the box it would playback images in the selected crop at capture. 

After resetting the camera it no longer does this but instead plays back the image with just the crop frame overlayed.

Can't seem to find an option to turn it back to displaying the cropped image on play back now.

Is this an actual function or am I imagining things?
