Canoeing The Sturgeon River

This is near my cabin in the Michigan Upper Peninsula. I probably drove my friends nuts because when I'd have them as guests I'd always get them to model for me. I recall having these two friends go back and forth through this spot about five times. Shame on me.

How nice that you have a cabin there. I camp there sometimes and love it.

Eager to go back soon. Next time I think I'll explore/photograph the little towns more.

Thanks, John. I also fell in love with the area. The small towns show signs of economic depression and I often have guilt feelings about having a beautiful cabin and 80 acres of wooded land there. My cabin is a couple of miles off Hwy 2, about 10 miles east of Norway. If you're in the vicinity let me know and perhaps the timing will work out for sitting on the porch sipping some good single malt. Here's some incentive.
