Herr Barnack Posted April 20, 2022 Share #2 Posted April 20, 2022 (edited) @Henry Taylor Right you are, it's an F-16. Back in the days of my misspent youth, I refueled many F-16s, including the Thunderbirds. Good times... stuny Posted April 20, 2022 Share #3 Posted April 20, 2022 Hank - Very nice, but.... Both seem a bit muddy, so I brightened them a bit, and since the 2nd one was not in focus, I applied reduce camera shake, and that cured it. Please keep your a/c photos coming - I always enjoy them. Not Nellis, but Malmstrom in MT and Grissom in IN with TDYs to Beale in CA and Howard in Panama. When I was at Grissom, we caught a lot of in transit air traffic. I remember one slow Saturday afternoon when a flight of Canadian Huey helicopters dropped out of the sky for fuel. There were 20 of them. 😳 The Thunderbirds were at Grissom for an air show when I got to work their jets. North Nellis is also known as Groom Lake or Area 51.
