May I ask owners of Sigma 24mm F/3.5 DG DN Contemporary lens, how does the lens perform in terms of IQ and autofocus speed/accuracy on digital CL?  Would magnification on viewfinder be automatically activated once focus ring is being turned?

Sharing with us some photos will ne very much appreciated.  Thanks.

Magnification works Indeed, with the lens toggled to manual focus mode of course. You'll enjoy this lens very much especially if you shoot manual and appreciate the use of an aperture ring. Its setting is displayed in the viewfinder BTW, the lens is fully recognized by the CL. In Aperture A mode it behaves just like the Leica 23TL. Its main minus compared to the Leica is the F3.5 and the larger size and weight. My amateur eyes can't detect any difference in IQ.

The Sigma 24mm is fantastic, simple as that really, light, fast, with excellent IQ, certainly good enough for me. The rest of the line-up from Sigma are also Excellent!

Shots attached all shot with Sigma 24mm wide open.

Its an exellent lens with outstanding IQ. Yes it is a little too big and heavy. The aperture of 3.5 is not a problem and can be solved by choosing a higher iso.

The quality of manufacturing is very good, all of metal even the lens shade. I can only recommend this lens, the price is very competitive.
