schimmey Posted April 18, 2022 Share #1 Posted April 18, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) Good evening all, Has anyone used the above l-bracket on the M11 and, if so, what is your experience? Many thanks in advance. Paul
Advertisement Posted April 18, 2022 Posted April 18, 2022 Hi schimmey, Take a look here Gitzo L-bracket (for Sony α7R III & Sony α9) on an M11?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Photoworks Posted April 19, 2022 Share #2 Posted April 19, 2022 since the camera only takes smaller lenses I use the Leica grip with Arca mount. you can put the camera on the side with most tripods. considering most people don't have adapted 280mm lenses not the M or the 75 brick from Leica, they have the own mount anyway. but you can put any universal L brackets on, and take them off every time you change card and battery. the Sony specific are not so elegant as they have the part of the grip and battery been wider. schimmey Posted April 22, 2022 Author Share #3 Posted April 22, 2022 Thanks Photoworks, The M11 grip does not appear to allow for mounting the camera in portrait. I have arca-swiss for an SLR and really like it but cannot use this on the M11 - not even the smaller version for mirrorless cameras. Maybe in time they will design one. Thanks again.
