stuny Posted April 15, 2022 Author Share #5 Posted April 15, 2022 Rob - This was with a Vlux114. It's a very versatile camera, allowing us to travel lightly. It has interpolating s/w that permits extending the tele end to the equivalent of 800 MM without the losses of digital zooming. Its greatest weakness is that even though its autofocus is good and fast, manual focus is very clunky, and the earlier versions of the camera were far worse in that respect. The auto focus will lock on to the closer object, such as twigs or leaves between the camera and the subject, necessitating manual focus.
