I have a 35mm Summicron-M ASPH lens, and would like to know what version it is? I understand there are various versions of this lens.  Serial # 3919540.

Thank You,

Wilfredo+

Look for the model number at where you can find the “Made in Germany” engraving. Then google that or match it with the latest one on B&H. If it matches, the copy is ASPH V2. If it doesn’t  match, that is v1.

Thank you all, this was very helpful.  It's a version 1, only 1000 made.  It's a wonderful lens!

Cheers,

Wilfredo+

😄 1,000 made in this only year 2001

if you follow the link to Wiki of my post #3, BIS ... you would see so many more "made".
