He call himself the Lord Of The Cello and can often be found playing at the Thursday evening street fairs in downtown Palm Springs. He's actually very good and draws large crowds who reward him with lots of contributions. A wind machine keeps his long hair flowing.

Also in Take the Money and Run which is shot in faux semi-documentary style, they explain why the protagonist went so wrong.  One of the reasons was his frustration of playing cello in his high school marching band.  He carried a folding chair, opened it, sat down, played a few notes, folded the chair, and ran to catch up with the band.  they showed other reasons as well.

I pretty much lost my taste for Woody Allen after details came out about what he allegedly did with his daughter.
