Unless it's a numbered edition like the Daniel Craig and 007 editions of the colour Q2, it's only a limited edition in the sense that Leica will keep producing and selling them till they run out of stock or demand stops, whichever comes first....just like regular production models.

The 350 number was published by the Leica Rumors website and has been unsubstantiated so far.

Even the black paint edition of the M10-R was rumored to be limited to 2000 pieces, but sources close to Leica have confirmed that as long as they have demand and the capacity to produce them, they will keep making and selling them.

The sad reality is that all digital Leica bodies depreciate much worse than analog M bodies, and will be paperweights once the electronics inside either fail or become unsupported by Leica.  In short, I wouldn't count on the Q2M Reporter edition being any more collectible than the Q2 Reporter edition.

Limiting it to 350 copies worldwide will cause a stampede of buyers. 

I doubt that it will help the resale or trade-in value of the Q2M/R in the long run, though.

I got mine 2 days ago, the dealer said its limited, but had no further infos.

Nevertheless: its really nice
