Delightful, well done, and yet more reasons why I'm not the biggest fan of Las Vegas.

It can be a decadent and excessive place.  There is a huge disparity and contrast between the people on the streets and tourists gambling away in the casinos.

I try and show this contrast in some of the images.  Oddly, the street people seem to take their plight in stride and can be kind of humorous about it.  It seems to work as they do get some cash out of it.  We always try to give them a few bucks when we're around.

During one of our visits I went to a casino just off the strip that was showing its age.  My goal was to see its auto collection.  To get there, one has to pass through the casino, of course, and it was pitiful seeing pensioners with their wheeled oxygen bottles and nasal canals in place, desperately trying to make ends meet at the slots.

Sounds like you are talking about the old Imperial Palace which is long gone replaced by a new mega-resort.

We live far off the Strip, way east of there and more towards Lake Mead.  It's pretty much like any other place.  We like it here for the weather and the entertainment, and the low taxes.  We're a day's drive from at least a dozen national parks where there are endless photo opportunities.

Camaro5, this is a very good series for me. Looks very harmonious in analog. Thanks for showing! My memory of Vegas was more colorful. In black and white Las Vegas looks very different, but somehow more beautiful.

Please continue this series in the same way ...

Could perhaps say something about the development, gladly also by PM? Thanks in advance.
