The LHSA special editions, unlike some of the Leica limited editions, remain limited by number.  But these are generally sold out quickly, before even available for general purchase.

There are currently, however, some high quality third party black paint M lenses from Voigtlander and Light Lens Lab, the latter offering Leica remakes such as the recent 35 Summicron 8 element.

Actually, back twenty years ago, the LHSA black paint limited lenses and camera stayed on the shelves forever, and finally Leica offered rebates to move them.  I purchased a full set, with the M6, but too busy to use them and eventually sold them a year or so later.  If I kept them, they would of been a good investment, but Leica stuff wasn't selling like it is today.  It was only with the advent of the digital M that Leica products took off.  Probably some other factors involved too.
