But these are generally sold out quickly, before even available for general purchase. There are currently, however, some high quality third party black paint M lenses from Voigtlander and Light Lens Lab, the latter offering Leica remakes such as the recent 35 Summicron 8 element. Jeff Actually, back twenty years ago, the LHSA black paint limited lenses and camera stayed on the shelves forever, and finally Leica offered rebates to move them. I purchased a full set, with the M6, but too busy to use them and eventually sold them a year or so later. If I kept them, they would of been a good investment, but Leica stuff wasn't selling like it is today. It was only with the advent of the digital M that Leica products took off. Probably some other factors involved too.

Huss Posted March 15, 2022 Share #22 Posted March 15, 2022 Just placed an order for the new black paint over brass Voigtlander 40mm 2.8. Will look great on my BP MP, plus I love the 40mm focal length.
