I bought this lens (Voigtlander Ultron 35/3 MkII) and after putting it on my M240, i have found, my camera thinks, i have an adapted R lens.
So if i want to choose profile manually, there are ony R lenses on the list. Tried to reset the camera, clean the mount etc. but nothing helps.
No problem with another lens from Voigtlander or TTArtisan.
Is it standard behaviour with this lens or is there something wrong?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Isn’t this true for 28s too, to an even bigger extent ?

Ya, I’d agree with that. I think for 28’s, you either have ultra modern rendering (the Leica ASPH Elmarit), the in-between modern and classic Summicron ASPH, a much cheaper version of that same lens in the Voigtlander 28 Ultron ASPH (which would be perfect for film shooters if they offered a 0.7m focus option), and then… the older designed 28 Elmarits with a much more classic look (the Elmarit V3 comes to mind). I’ve considered purchasing the LTM Voigtlander 28mm f3.5 because it looks like it has a nice mix of classic and modern rendering in a very compact form factor. And how could I forget the best 28 (rendering wise, in my opinion) of all? The Summaron

My lens collection ended with 2000-ish era Summilux from 21mm to 75mm. High contrast hard edge look isn’t for me. Particularly disappointing are the small 28mm Elmarit Asph lenses so tiny but so high contrast. Oh what a shame. But there’s the Summaron the best new Leica since the old Summaron. Person opinion of course and your mileage might differ.
