Photos By Cowz Posted January 15, 2022 Share #1 Posted January 15, 2022 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I have a SL601 and soon a CL (with 18-56) and I have been looking for a compact(ish) lens from Sigma to compliment the two bodies. I have been looking at the 65mm f2 as it will give me a different length to what I use on the SL (Sigma 35mm f1.4 and Leica M 35/50/75/90) and seems to compliment the range that the 18-56 gives (27-84) being a 97mm equivalent. I also was looking at the 90 as it is smaller but only a 2.8 opposed to the 65mm f2. I mostly shoot portraits using the SL and M10P, but want to use the CL as well as it gives me another AF camera with alternate focal lengths. Any suggestions from users or experience with the contemporary lens lineup?? photo below is simply eye candy……. M10P with 50mm f2 Summicron Welcome, dear visitor! Advertisement Posted January 15, 2022 Posted January 15, 2022 Hi Photos By Cowz, Take a look here Sigma choice for SL/CL combo. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Marac Posted January 15, 2022 Share #2 Posted January 15, 2022 The 45/2.8 works well on both bodies, I also really enjoy the 16mm f1.4 but it is APSC. The Sigma 105/f1.4 is the portrait king from Sigma. So many options, the good thing is that they are all excellent.
ynp Posted July 22, 2022 Share #3 Posted July 22, 2022 I was offered a second hand Sigma 65/2 DG lens. How does it feel on the CL? Is the AF reliable? Thanks.
