Early am in South FL, USA with the new M11 and Zeiss 1.4 35 Distagon. I haven't tried a Leica lens yet. For almost $4K more, is it worth getting the Summilux 35 instead of the Zeiss? I am loving the camera and the whole experience.

The very last one.... M11, Nocti 74 wide open....   BUT: BE CAREFUL, under some circumstances these combo will produce purple fringes....

M11, APO-Summicron-M 50mm f/2 ASPH

View from my office, sloppy hand held panorama (no tripod or other stabilization, I only had 3 minutes between meetings, forgot to fix exposure, ...). No manual edits, I developed TIFs from C1 and dragged them into PTGUI Pro, then cropped. I am sure that e.g. the halo effect on the left/central office building could have been reduced if I had taken better care with constant exposure. Resulting image = 300 Megapixels 🙂
