How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Files” and s

Some more interior shots from Hampton Court yesterday, this time in colour. I am pretty happy with the higher ISO performance of the M11

35 FLE at ISO 2,000 for the gallery and ISO 1,250 for the table setting.

35FLE at ISO 2,500 with one stop taken off exposure in development and +100 for shadows, so fairly extreme processing.

Nice images! That ship was actually built by my grandfather, but sadly he passed away shortly before it was ready. Long before I was born.

While web-sized pictures cannot show off the M11's 60-Mpixel resolution directly, this picture and the ones preceding certainly show off other excellent characteristics of the new sensor and programming (as well as simply being good photographs by any measure! ;) )

Really smooth tonality from the extended DR, and that "kiss of magenta" that captures some of the color of the CCD M9, and counterintuitively, also makes greens pop (complementary colors) while keeping them cool (not too yellow).

The rocks and waterfall series are so open and delicate.
