This little guy is a good intro to my shots from an annual course on how to design, make, and interface to some pretty unlikely worlds.

Very nice photo and one of my favourite locations.  My son lives close by and continually takes photos at different times of year, sadly not with Leica as his camera of choice is a Hasselblad 907X.  He has also taken including some incredible drone shots on a very cold and frosty morning - the best way to see the pagan henge encircling a christian church!

incredible drone shots

Thanks.

Yes, I have seen some drone footage and it is spectacular. Photographically I have yet to find the full potential that should be there - maybe need a model in a red dress!

Mont Blanc in the summer mid-afternoon ...haze is a challenge in that type of light at that time of day, and probably negates a lot of the resolution of my sharp APO Lanthar lens

....still, despite the awful haze (I wouldn't bother printing this image as a result!), here is an approx 6" crop to show just Mont Blanc's summit.

That 6" crop is taken from a 55" wide image of the whole scene, so it would be a very big print if sent to the Epson (I resampled the file in Photoshop to 300dpi).

Enough resolution for everyone?

To my eyes at least, it’s surprising just how little difference in fine detail is captured between my M11 and GFX100, even at this huge print size.
