I bought a Konica M-Hexanon Dual 21-35mm F/3.4-4 lens last week and finally had a chance to take it out of the house today. What a wonderful lens! The size was smaller than I expected and the handling is flawless, everything is smooth and tight. The glass, is another high point. I took maybe 50 images today with it and none needed more than a tweak of highlights and shadows. I love the rendering. It is a shame these lenses are no longer being made today. Apparently there is only around 800 total but if you have the opportunity to get one or try one, I would highly recommend it. Mine did not come with the hood but from what I have read, it is really not needed and blocks the viewfinder quite a bit. I put a B&W filter on to protect the front element. The 2 images below were taken at 21 and 35 on my M11-P to show the range and both are at f8. I love having 2 focal lengths in an instant. My preferred one lens solution tends to be 28mm so this lens slots in perfectly for me.

I have a few questions about this lens. Does it activate the 35mm frame lines? Can you adjust the focal length anywhere between 21 and 35 (like 28mm) or is it fixed at just those two focal lengths? Thanks!

35mm frame lines. Using Live View, yes, it does act like a zoom. 21 and 35 setting have detents so my thought process is if I want 28mm, I will shoot at 21 and crop in post but it looks like you could frame between the 2 focal lengths to get an approximate 28mm FOV.
