I found this article quite inspirational and thought it might be of interest to others here: https://www.ilfordphoto.com/rain-clouds-gather/?___store=ilford_brochure&___from_store=ilford_uk

As explained in the article, the photographer uses a Leica M7 and painstakingly prints his work for exhibition, print and online display.

Please feel free to make any comments or observations.

This is inspirational.  My Leica experience is 100% B&W film and S-G prints.  That fact that Kit Young produces this amazing work by scanning S-G prints is truly remarkable.  I need to work on such a scanning workflow.  For sure.

I actually suffer Flickr sometimes because there are people on there like him worth following:

I totally admire that you work with film and wet printing B&W. I have a darkroom dream for "sometime" in the future because I really loved it and the results.

Don't forget to drop by the "I Like Film" thread - all film users are warmly welcomed.

The longer you wait, the bigger the backlog 😂

Cool, like the moody photographs.  Never used Microphen, probably a powder.  Ha, ha, I don't do powders.  Wish I had space for a darkroom.  Should have pick have picked an enlarger though, back twenty years ago when they were selling for peanuts as folks converted digital.  Someday a darkroom.
