New Leica owner here, and I have a problem

Which will probably be 1 of many, but I went from my eos R5/6 to the SL2-S and My problem is I can upload my 4k 50fps footage and review in premiere pro, but not in windows photos or windows media player. Is there something Im doing wrong in setting on the camera itself? Any help would be great. Using premier pro isnt exactly my favorite way to review footage  thanks  Richie (From Boston Ma.)

You are probably missing a Codec. Download QuickTime

I run a PC not apple. and quick time isnt available.  Never had issue viewing SH-1 footage

I don't know the specific answer but maybe use vlc instead of the stock windows players. It's a much better player and handles near any file type.

Are the video files .mov or .mp4

Even on the Mac, the 10Bit Mov files can't be viewed with the finder or Quicktime. You need a more versatile application such as VLC Player, or on the Mac IINA. The usual editing programs don't have issues with these files.

Its appears Ive got it figured out, working well  doing a side by side compare with my eos R5 using 24-70mm f2.8 lens. And finally got it to work smoothly. Thanks All.
