Several manufacturers have implemented a similar UI. I have issues when the focus point moves by itself away from the center, but not if it centers itself. One solution is to use multi-field focusing mode, which is likely the quickest way to grab focus. How would you improve the "poor design"? But I don’t use the LCD… I’ve already explained elsewhere in this thread how I would change the software instructions to prevent the focal square from moving.

letsrig Posted March 9, 2023 Share #22 Posted March 9, 2023 I am a new Q2 user and discovered that my nose is moving the focal square. I'm using the latest firmware and have attempted to completely disable the LCD without success. Do we have to cover the LCD to stop this from happening? Any resolution to this in the last year I am missing. It is really annoying.
Le Chef Posted March 9, 2023 Share #23 Posted March 9, 2023 Are you a left eye shooter?
letsrig Posted March 9, 2023 Share #24 Posted March 9, 2023 Right eye. Happens when I turn camera for portrait mode - shutter side down. This is when the nose hits LCD. I do this because i'm always wearing a hat with a peak and also to keep elbow in.
