A very nice place to spend the weekend.

This was a busy quayside in the 1600s, with lots of trade passing through, especially with the Dutch. Now, it really is a sleepy backwater, a mile from the sea.

This scene brings back many happy memories, Andy. Did you stay in the village? It also looks lovely from the marshes.
