Idawhat Posted December 17, 2021 Share #1 Posted December 17, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) The quail in my area are interesting to view. As the temperatures cool they fluff up to stay warm. I took this image this morning. It was 2 deg. F and the quail resembled footballs. Welcome, dear visitor! Idawhat Posted December 31, 2021 Author Share #6 Posted December 31, 2021 Louis & Henry, you two are funny. I prefer my quail alive. When I was young I would hunt them. Now I just enjoy seeing them. Must say, you are correct, they are tasty.

Hunting is fine but once you shoot the bird it's gone forever. I have about 40 quail that come to my feeder every day. I guess Henry & Louis would call that a banquet. 😬

I also prefer to shoot them with a camera.
