Also, thank you to everyone who helped to make it another successful month by generously posting their pictures and in particular to those people who posted for the first time - I hope you found it an interesting and rewarding experience and I hope it encourages you to share more of your pictures with us! The 158th Barnack's Monthly theme for November 2021 is: Living Thing This month's theme is any picture that contains a living thing in the picture. For example, it could be a mouse, a spouse, a grouse, a howler monkey, a donkey, a junkie, a flunky, Ban Ki-Moon, a tiger, a liger, a geranium, a pelargonium, a palomino, a pangolin, a panda, a red panda, Amanda, a man, a mango, a fox, an ox, an ocelot, an ostrich, an emu, a kangaroo, a wallaby, a benobo, a chimpanzee, a gorilla, a guerrilla, a chinchilla, a fish, a silver fish, a flying fish, a flying squirrel, a marmot, a vole, a shrew, a stork, a morepork, a pot-bellied pig, a warthog, a water buffalo, a buffalo, a bison, a bunny, a bird of paradise. a pelican, a porpoise with a purpose, a dolphin with a delphinium, a dashing flasher wrasse, a swift, a swallow, a swan, a hen, a heron, a human, a huntaway, a hungry caterpillar, a cat, a bat, a brown rat, a brown bear, a Grisly bear, a koala bear, a bear cub, a bare cub, a lamb, a ram, a ewe, a yew tree, a eucalyptus tree, a tea tree, a Petri dish full of cultures, a fir tree, a pine tree, a pine martin, a turtle, a tortoise, a terrapin, a damselfly, a dragonfly, a snap dragon, a Venus flytrap, a pitcher plant, a butterfly, a moth, a Goth, a goat, a goanna, Joanna, a Tasmanian Devil, a parrot, a paramour, a parakeet, - it's entirely your choice so let your imagination run free! It would be a big help if you give your picture a title so to help us understand your point of view. Members have asked if we'd very kindly name the camera and lens used because it's interesting to know. The rules are deliberately loose so go out and shoot with this month's theme in mind or start searching back through those pictures you took oh-so long ago that you'd forgotten about and start posting! It doesn't have to be your best ever shot and it's not a competition so you might surprise the rest of us and yourself - it's just about sharing some pictures, seeing others' take on the topic, and enjoying it! Everybody's welcome to contribute, any interpretation, any number of posts, pictures that have been posted on the forum before, any equipment as long as it and the photo complies with the forum's rules of either camera or lens or both made by Leica. Please post freely - especially newcomers and please remember there's no judging or criticism (good or bad) in this thread. So, if you'd like to show your acknowledgement or appreciation that someone has posted their picture then instead of posting a comment please use the "Thanks" button that you can find at the bottom right of every post.
