Michael Geschlecht Posted October 22, 2021 Share #8 Posted October 22, 2021 (edited) Hello Stuart, Nice photo. Congratulations to Barbara & to you. May each new day of both retirements bring both of you even more happiness & joy than the day before did. Hopefully there is a Railroad Station nearby for you to photograph in. And perhaps a tall Art Deco detail or 2 to photograph also. Best Regards, Michael Edited October 22, 2021 by Michael Geschlecht
Graham (G4FUJ) Posted October 22, 2021 Share #9 Posted October 22, 2021 Lovely. Enjoy your retirement. Someone else will have to photograph the goings on at the railway station now!

stuny Posted October 22, 2021 Author Share #11 Posted October 22, 2021 Thank you for the retirement good wishes. Originally we planned to retire a year earlier, but with COVID and our ability to work from home, plus NO opportunity to go almost anywhere we decided to earn some more, and worked from home beginning 13 February 2020, and retiring on 9 April 2021. And yes, preparation to sell the house and move, the move itself (which is still not done - We won't move into the new place from temporary housing until mid to late November) was quite stressful. And yes, photos in Grand Central will be less common, as will photos of the Chrysler Building, but I will be pulling out some older photos of both venues now and again.

stuny Posted October 24, 2021 Author Share #13 Posted October 24, 2021 Thank you. What we're most looking forward to is traveling again. Assuming no other COVID issues, Barbara has already booked three trips for next year.
