Believe it or not Mother Nature is able to clean itself up in very quick order. During the WWII along the East Coast many oil transports were torpedoed spilling oil all along the East Coast shoreline and what people thought at that time, it would never recover. An Onion headline yesterday or the day before read something like, "California firefighter observing oil spill and wild fires fears the worst."
