cboy Posted October 7, 2021 Share #21 Posted October 7, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) The 50 summarit was sharp compact thats is similar characteristic to the ultron line. The ltm 35 ultron had a pleasant signature imo that had a good balance of actuance and nice oof rendering. Id be great to see to a 50 ultron similiar to the ultron 35ltm character. Same look and feel as the ca. 1957 collapsible Summicron with modern optics and without the infinity lock. Please, please...PLEASE Cosina, make it so. and make it close-range too. With a tangle dent when exiting the 70 cm mark. The infinity lock of some lenses is nice (my Summicron 35mm v1) but most old lenses lock very hard (the LTM standard). In an M-mount the detach-force can be low. So many 50mm lenses to choose from. . .

BradS Posted October 8, 2021 Share #24 Posted October 8, 2021 (edited) Yeah, a Summicron v4 that does not flare at a fraction of the price of a Summicron would be very much welcomed. Kinda like the Zeiss 50mm Planar ZM - a better summicron at a third of the price. Yes, please! Edited October 8, 2021 by BradS

They just announced a 90mm Apo-Skopar f/2.8. Do you have any indications that there may be an apo 90mm f/2 lens on the way? If so, please share a link.
