stuny Posted September 25, 2021 Author Share #4 Posted September 25, 2021 Fred, Hank, Edgard & graham - Thank you. Richard - Thank you. I almost always have a camera with me, which stems from our first visit to Australia in 1989. we went out for dinner in the rocks in Sydney, and I noticed that something seemed odd about the Datsun we were approaching. When we got to it I saw the rear seat had been removed to make space for the owners two live sheep. I didn't have my camera. I often advise photographers to always have a camera, and whenever possible, have it out and not in a bag, backpack or even case - Too often people find it too much trouble to take out the camera, or spend too much time doing so, thereby missing the shot. Ece - Thank you. Eataly is still there, on Broadway at 24th street, which I suspect your daughter knows. That entrance gets you directly to the coffee bar (Barbara tells me the coffee is superb) and the gelato bar (that part opens at 11:00 AM and is one of a very few places in town to get gelato as good as in southern Sicily). Eataly's equal in coffee and gelato is at Venchi, on Broadway between 17th and 18th streets. Eataly's markets and restaurants are excellent, pricy, and crowded after 12:00 noon.
