robsonj Posted September 16, 2021 Share #2 Posted September 16, 2021 I was using a Sony tough, maybe not the exact same one, for the longest time without issue, then suddenly ran into a whole bunch of card write issues, so I switched to a sandisk, no issues since. the Sony still works flawlessly in my Q2
Adelita Posted September 7, 2023 Share #3 Posted September 7, 2023 Exactly same thing here with a Tough 128 GB. Writing problems started after about a year of use. Changed to a new Tough 64 GB which didn't work from start on. Thought first that something was wrong with my M10R, but using a Scandisc 32 GB now with no problem. Strmbrg Posted March 28 Share #4 Posted March 28 Sometimes (not so often though) a taken photo doesn't show up on the "play-screen". Just the DNG-file-number is presented. I use a 64GB SanDisk Ultra 140MB/s SDXC I. The camera-firmware is the latest. -Do you recommend me to use another type of/brand of card? KFo Posted March 28 Share #5 Posted March 28 TLDR: Same thing M10P; the camera needs a second to process. This only happens on my M10P when I shot a quick series (maybe just images) and chimp immediately. If you move on to another image then return you should see the image (that was shown be filename) ready for viewing. I've never given it much thought. I assumed it was because the camera was still processing. I generally use San Disc Ultra 32gb (80 mb/s speed) SD cards. These card are old, I bought them for my Fuji system back around 2013. Only one has had an issue (out of 8). I tossed it and went on with life using the remaining seven. I've also used a couple of Sony 64 gb, 300 mb/s cards that I bought for a project were I was shooting "motor drive" sequences and wanting to see if I could increase the number of images and the total processing time before the Fuji would tap out. Same project was also shot with the M10P and same cards near the end. Worked fine.

Leica recommends a SanDisk Extreme Pro 300MB/s. Very expensive cards those, so in comparison with the size of the problem: No.
