To owners of the Q2 and RRS L-plate with grip...

Recommended Posts

I also purchased the RRS L -Plate with Grip for my Q2 and the camera will rest on the lens extremity(tilt).  This is the same as without the plate, but much more exaggerated by the height of the bracket.

Does this combination allow the Q2 to sit horizontally level on a flat surface (i.e., without the dreaded lens "dip"/front of the lens touching the table)?

My Q2M with RRS L-plate and grip will dip.

@mth @luetz Damn, I was hoping it would take care of that. I've heard the OEM Leica handgrip will hold the camera upright without the tilt. Maybe still gotta use the lenscap under the lens then...
