I don't think I'm the first person to photograph this :-). In autumn the leaves on the ivy covering the cottage - it's a tea shop now - turn a lovely red colour. I spent the night in the Eagles hotel just around the corner from here. I seem to remember that there were severe floods here a couple of years ago, difficult to believe given the low level of the river.
