As per the title, Nokishita  is saying that 90mm f2.8 and 24mm f2 contemporaries will be the next Sigmas to launch.

It’ll be interesting to see what the 24mm f2 brings to the party given the recent launch of the 24mm f3.5.

Two stops or so. 😃

I imagine the 24 f/2 would be pretty big. Possibly similar in size to the 35/1.4.

The 90 f/2.8 would be a nice if it’s similar in size to the 65 f/2. It would replace the 90mm Elmarit-M for my SL2-S and add autofocus capability as a light tele option.

Yeah that looks promising. I’ll probably get one if the performance is comparable to the 24/3.5 DG DN and pair with with one of the wide angle APO SL primes.

I’d be curious to see how the 24/2 DG DN stack up with the to-be-released 24 APO SL. If the 35/1.4 DG DN is any indicator, it may come close to the APO SL and be about 1/4 to 1/5th the price of the APO SL.

I’m really liking how Sigma is building up their i-series line up.

I’m hoping they’ll also release a compact i-series 18mm f/3.5-f/4 with good corner sharpness. It would be a good auto-focus and auto-exposure equivalent of the Leica 18 SEM on an L-mount body. The Leica 18 SEM is nice on the M but performs poorly on the SL2-S.

Sorry to link to a rumors site but they have imagery up of both of these upcoming lenses and I have to say they’re really appealing. Sigma is just absolutely crushing it with this i-Series line.

I have all the others for my SL and I have been so impressed by each one. They’re all excellent values and very competent performers. It is interesting how this i-Series is developing into two distinct lines though, but even if you own them all, they make a complementary set (though having two 24mm options is a little odd. I do wish they had at least one 28mm.
