Leica closes its store in Las Vegas

I just received an email from Leica saying that The Leica Store in Las Vegas is ceasing operations as of today.  I wonder what happened?

I may have been on of the few people that ever went there.  It was a tiny little place with three people working and I never saw anyone else come into the store the times I was there.  It was also in a horrible location in Caesar's Palace Forum Shops, stuck in a lower level corner.  I was sorry to see it go, but not a bit surprised.  

Leica does, however, have the Leica Boutique at the one remaining camera shop in town.  It's basically the front corner of the store with a wall cabinet full of gear and two display cases.  I met the rep there to test the M11.  For as many models & lenses that Leica has, it's okay.  Better than nothing.
