Audible noise on my Q2 Monochrom

When I turn the camera on there is an audible noise. Is that normal?

If you meant little 'clunk' sound, then yes, perfectly normal. I think it's the autofocus engaging or something.

Well, yes, mine does this too, after the little clunk. I think it's normal, or at least I hope so!

I had the same concern several months ago with my new Q2M. Search this: " Unusual Electronic Sounds from New Q2 Monochrom Lens".

It's normal. There are other posts about this noise.

My Q2M is quiet as a mouse

It could be the OIS initialising or something. When I have an OIS zoom lens it did a similar thing.

My Leica Q2 had that sound and i went to Customer Service to check and change camera leather color. When i got back my Leica Q2, no more sound when i use the Q2.

It's the image stabilization. Turn that off, and the noise goes away. (I got my Q2M yesterday, turned on OIS because I have a tremor, and was curious about the noise, and immediately thought of the OIS, because I know this happens with some other cameras and lenses.)
