GPS in Setup menu always ON.

The setup menu on my M240 has the item GPS greyed out and it is  ALWAYS ON.  I cannot change the item to OFF.
So I cannot change the Time and Date on the camera to the correct local time because the AUTO GPS Time is set to ON and I cannot change that either.
I never used the GPS function because I dont have any  hand grip where the GPS unit is located.
I am using firmware version 2.1.0.0 which is the latest I believe.
I have exactly the same problem with my M246 Monochrom, namely, the GPS is always ON and cannot be changed and the Time cannot be set because the AUTO GPS Time is always set to ON.
Firmware is 1.1.0.0.
Initially, when I first had these cameras,  this problem does not exist so I do not know if this has anything to do with my recent firmware upgrading.
I would grateful to know if anyone has a solution to this issue.
By the way, I do not have this problem with my M10.  There I can change the GPS to Off and the GPS Auto Time to OFF so I can change the time.
Attached photos show the problem.   Thanks I advance.

Out of curiosity, I wanted to be certain that I can NOT set time...

On my M246, GPS ON (line greyed out), to set time I went to 'Date&time', last line TIME, I can change at will, Format, Setting then 'info' or set to set.

Maybe same thing in M240, I didn't try.

Yes you are right.  I can now set the time. Thank you very much.

You are welcome,

some Leicadom logics must be learned,as my experiences.

Coming from Sony/Fuji/Nikon/Canon/etc. I must admit that digital Leica is the simplest menu, even some Ms have zero menu 🥰.

Another logic is for setting ISO in some digital M, holding the ISO button or not before changing ...

And much more logics/illogics to learn to live with, as in other things in life.
