For those interested in Darktable as an alternative to Lightroom, version 3.6 was just released.

I have been using the darktable github version since a few weeks. It's actually an early preview of v3.7. Functionality, user experience, stability and in particular the mask management is excellent. Thumbs up. I have a steep learning curve, thanks to myriads of youtube how-to' videos. Bruce Williams is highly recommended. The guy makes complicated things quite easy.
