I'd like to be able to put in fresh cells but can't get the blame thing open no matter what I try. Well, I haven't tried dismantling yet, but that is a thought. adan Posted June 15, 2021 Share #2 Posted June 15, 2021 So I assume you are using the correct 2-step technique, which is to press/hold the small round silver lock button in, and then slide the door forward with thumb/finger friction, to unlatch it, at which point it should spring up.
