AndreasG Posted June 11, 2021 Share #3 Posted June 11, 2021 Indeed, should be even better in colour? Question: Where is the location shown in the third image? No.1 probably is Asakusa Nakamise, in front of the Sakai arts shop, No. 2 the shopping arcade close to Marunouchi subway station.

If I had taken these with the M10 they may indeed have been better in colour. Not an option here, as I'm (mostly) carrying my M10M these days. The third photo is from Asakusa. The second is outside the Ginza Inz shopping arcade, so, closer to Ginza station, or Yurakucho, than to Marunouchi. Where are your favoured hunting grounds in Tokyo, Mr G? AndreasG Posted June 12, 2021 Share #5 Posted June 12, 2021 Thank you @nodrog, I apologize, I was not aware that you used a monochrome camera. My hunting grounds cover entire Tokyo, where I lived for almost 30 years, but early 2020 after retirement I returned to Germany, missing Japan and Tokyo a lot, hopefully I can return later this year, when the Corona issue has been resolved. Some typical Leica photos you find here: Best regards Andreas 1

Zubida Posted June 18, 2021 Share #7 Posted June 18, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Nice set! Contrast is great. What aperture and ISO settings you used for this shot? Did you shoot raw or go with any post-processing?
Louis Posted June 18, 2021 Share #8 Posted June 18, 2021 A beautiful and original set.
Herr Barnack Posted June 28, 2021 Share #9 Posted June 28, 2021 @nodrog I like them in black and white; they have a peaceful quality to them. JMHO but color may have made the images too visually busy. There's a lot to be said for shooing in black and white when a scene is chock full of color...
