Correct! I've attended a conference in Sapporo and stayed a few days longer to visit Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo (first time in Japan).

... very nice pics😃👍! And you're a lucky guy because your "first contact" with Japan fell into a time when there were almost no foreign tourists. Must have been great to walk through Kyoto and visit Kyomizudera without tons of other tourists. If Japan will ever open up again its borders for individual tourists I will be on one of the first planes to go there😆!!!

Nokton says “I miss you, why?” 😅damn… This 28mm is a great lens (too sharp and contrasty perhaps!) but I’ve been using 35mm as my daily/go-to for years… I’ll play a bit more with 28mm and will be a valuable addition for indoor/tight scenes but 35mm will always be my natural view of the world and how I love documenting…

I shot 35mm only for a couple of years. Ultimately I was always yearning for 50mm. And sometimes it just wasn’t wide enough. So 28/50 combo for me. 28mm is almost like 35 but just that little but more useful. For me at least. With the 35mm I always found myself either cropping because i Just couldn’t get closer, or taking out my phone because I didn’t have enough room to back up. 😅

Love my 28mm Ultron. Too bad about the size limit on here. Doesn’t let me attach the picture.

Export your images to 2480 pixels max length on either side and set compression to something less than 100% like 95%. Sometimes you might brush up against the file size limit if your files are highly detailed. Or shell out minimal coin for a premium membership :)

I agree on a 28/50 kit, but I still reach for 35 when I can only take one.
