Henry, these are beautifully composed.

I can’t help but think the models face looks a little unnatural in tone and light.

Did you use a reflector or have you brightened in post? Her skin looks very smoothed too.

Lee I touched them up  in Portrait Pro  Studio  that why the skin . I will  send over later the originals. Thank Pedaes for your comment too.  I used only natural lighting in the shade with no reflectors or lighting.

Here is one of the originals

You captured her beautifully, my apologies on reflection, I think your edits to her complexion are minimal.

Those eyes are captivating.

Around 10 years ago I met a couple in Bali, we sat together and had some food and talked about surfing.

They both had the most amazing eyes with blonde hair and tanned skin from their travels across Asia.

Your friends granddaughter looks so similar. They were from Iceland.

Lee Her Grandfather is Norwegian decent and the Grand mother Swedish Decent  that explains the light skin and hair.

She has a superb look. I would prefer her eyes in focus though.

Stephan

Thanks Stephan, you are right  here is another attempt to  increase the focusing on the last shot. For the record, I got there  with my SL and realized I left my battery's home and had to  borrow my friends Canon with my 50mm  Summicron, Haven't used Canon in over 10 years and any mistakes made were from inexperience and unfamiliarity.
