Telyt V 280mm v3 dof ring spinning issue

Recently I discovered the depth of field ring on my Telyt V 280mm v3 does not stay where it supposed to. The lens is otherwise in great shape and not due for a CLA as near as I can tell. Unlike other lenses that I have partially disassembled and actually reassembled successfully, this doesn’t look like one I want to tackle unless it is easier than it initially looks. There isn’t even a hint of grabbing at the proper position nor are there any exposed set screws on the ring. At least not that I can see. I know I can function just fine without it working properly, but it bugs me when I focus and it spins right along with the focus ring because of how I hold the lens. Perhaps I am being overly compulsive and need to just live with it for now.
However, I am curious how it is supposed to be held in place. Any ideas?

Hello David,

my lens is solid as a rock since purchased decades ago.

I had a look at mine, I didn't see any screw that can become loose on the dof ring.

Had you try to tighten the small screw on the rear ring, opposite of "12" (about 1cm left) on the rear ring ?

...

Another possible screw is when the optical head removed, looking inside from front, near and far I see one at 12 O'clock.
