Hi RM,

it‘s very simple, like attaching the strap direct on the camera.

Just made some quick shots with my mobile.

I cannot recommend the rock n strap for the SL. I used it until the strap disconnected from the right lug. The SL2 and M 28 1.4 dropped 60 cm to a composite deck. Ouch. It is pretty new strap but the way the locking mechanism is designed it kept slipping off the metal part. YMMV.

Hmmmm thats got me thinking, sorry to hear that.

So sorry to hear that but thanks for sharing. The version I've used on the SL is an earlier design that had the strap lace through a number of crossways slits. I wound up add some adhesive for security. The newer version uses the metal stud which I suspect is the version you have. I ordered one in for a new camera yet to arrive. It seems that it would be secure - can you tell us a little more about your experience with it slipping? I liked the idea of it being removable, but perhaps a dab of adhesive will be needed for safety.

This is my setup: the slim strap for the light Q2, the broad strap for the heavier SL2.

I had the same experience. I was wearing my SL2 camera over one shoulder and neck  with a rocknroll strap and one side gave way. I think over time the leather hole must have stretched without me realising it. Luckily I felt it go and grabbed the camera before anything happened. I haven’t used it since. It’s too bad because it is a very comfortable strap.

Clever Supply.  I prefer leather straps (for cameras and guitars) to other materials,  w/out adjustment buckles that can scratch the camera or instrument and make them less pliable when put away in a bag. This one fits the bill and has Peak Design quick release. Not cheap, but meets

my needs (I use them on both of my cameras).
