I'm guessing Albert that the very beautiful Maisie is some sort of Doodle (Goldendoodle Labradoodle) or something ending in Poo.. very similar to our Dora who is a Cockapoo (Cocker Spaniel crossed with Poodle). Given the prices breeders here in the UK seem to demand for these (basically mongrel) crosses these days, as valuable as any pedigree breed you can name 😀, and little dogs with the most wonderful temperament.

I’ve even seen Weimar Doodles. 😎

Some of your pics look a bit soft. Is it because you are cropping heavily or is the lens not very sharp? I am asking because I had some problems with full frame lenses on the TL2

Daedalus.

As I mentioned, 90% crop - you get what you get..images have to be just about perfect for that crop.   I am still experimenting with this new-to-me lens.  Subject matter and movement, shutter speed, dof, light intensity and quality .. all matter to end result.  I have had some great results and some mediocre.. pretty standard for a new lens.  The lens can be very sharp if you do everything right.

I see thank you. I did not realize all of them were 90% crops, then it does make sense. I am thinking about getting a more telephoto lens for the L mount so the 70-200 or the 70-300 look interesting.

I wondered about that :-).  Your recent pictures have been very different from what I previously associated with ‘RickP’ pictures.  Also beautiful but new subject matter and close-up!

I wanted a lighter kit so I got myself a CL (again) and the Sigma 18-50. I did a test today, I like the combo, it feels like an X-vario :)

One of the test shots today. Thanks for looking

Don’t really know💁  The Canadians were shot with TL 55-135. CL. Maybe, I screwed it up in PHOTOSHOP. Thanks for communicating.
