Q2 Monochrome Shutter Release question

Recommended Posts

Yup, I do that with the Leica FOTOS app on my Q.   I'm assuming it is the same with the Q2/Q2M.

My complaint on the Q (other than battery use) is that I prefer shooting in Manual mode and when using the FOTOS app the camera goes into autofocus mode regardless of the setting on the lens.   At least I can tap on the screen of my phone to set my focus location.  Perhaps the Q2M is different.

Hmm, I’ve never tried but surprised that the app overrides the lens being physically turned into manual mode. Must bear that in mind when I’m looking for hyperfocal distance in landscapes!

Nope 😭

The Q2M does the exact same, ie it unconditionally (and regardless of "physical setting") forces you into AF once you connect via the FOTOS app 😭
