Advertisement Posted April 20, 2021 Posted April 20, 2021 Hi kengai, Take a look here D lux 7 or...?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Joachim123 Posted April 23, 2021 Share #2 Posted April 23, 2021 I have the D Lux and I always take it with me. Great camera when I don't want to take an M with 3 lenses.
Keith (M) Posted April 23, 2021 Share #3 Posted April 23, 2021 My D-Lux 7 is the one I take when out on country walks with my wife. Why? Versatility - it reduces the amount of time she spends foot-tapping, waiting for me to catch up!

I do not have a Q2. I had a Typ 109 and like it a lot. I traded it in for a D-Lux 7 when it came out of the market. The D-lux 7 is not good in low light condition and you really have to shoot at the largest aperture. However, in bright sunny days, It matches 95% the output in colour and resolution of my M10 with 35/50 Summilux. The D-Lux 7 is my grab and go camera. Even though the X-Vario is in the same class, somehow, I like the D-Lux 7 more because it is faster, smaller and IQ is better too.
Camaro5 Posted April 26, 2021 Share #5 Posted April 26, 2021 (edited) I got a D-lux 7 to use as a travel camera to back up my Hasselblad X1D. I've been happy with it for the most part but images can be a little noisy, mostly those that have any sky in them. Raw files come out a little flat but most of that can be corrected in post. One little trick I use is to do minimum global corrections in Lightroom and do more corrections/enhancements using local adjustments. That seems to keep the noise levels down when any sharpening is used. If I had to do it over again, though, I would probably go with a CL to be able to change lenses. I plan on using the D-Lux 7 until the next CL comes out, hopefully with IBIS. Edited April 26, 2021 by Camaro5
