Black chrome MP?

I tried to search for "black chrome MP" on eBay but found nothing. Is there such a thing? Maybe it was possible during a la carte days?

There was never a regular production black chrome MP but it could be ordered à la carte.

Speaking of hard to find, I'd love a chrome/brass type IV 50mm Summicron.

A la carte program for Black Chrome have been stopped at Leica for MP 0.72.

this means existing Black chrome will become a collectors item in close future. I have one which is at leica as we speech for compete overhaul, the camera have been there soon for 5 mounts so hopefully it will arrive soon.

I've consider it for sale for the right price. some picture below:

Yes, but only after A TON of use. Check out Garry Winogrands M4: https://www.cameraquest.com/LeicaM4G.htm

But i doubt there a lot of Chrome Leicas that look like this. I only have seen a few myself besides Winogrands  and there are definitely no Chrome ones that are as heavily "brassed" as black paint ones.

Notice how the strap lug holes are worn out to a larger inside diameter!

Since I ain't no Garry Winogrand, just a wannbe, I won't be brassing my Black chrome M-A anytime soon. Love to see some well worn black chrome bodies.

They will "brass" even harder than just a chrome one as long as you don't drop / scratch it. I have seen that a couple of times but never normal "brassing" besides lightly worn black color but not down to the brass.
