michali Posted April 6, 2021 Share #1 Posted April 6, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just updated my Sigma 45mm to vers.1.3 & noticed that as of 25 March21 there are several FW updates available for a number of Sigma lenses. These include the 24mm f3.5, 65mm f2, the 105mm f2.8 Macro as well as the 100-400mm f5.6/6.3. I believe so. It’s not glaring but noticeable.

Once you've downloaded the lens FW update onto a formatted SD card, insert into the SL2 with the Sigma lens mounted. Then follow these steps on the camera & press: Main Menu > pg.5 > Camera Information > Lens Firmware Version > Start Update... michali Posted May 10, 2021 Author Share #9 Posted May 10, 2021 (edited) You're able to update Sigma lenses on the SL2 by following the above procedure. I assume this also works for Panasonic lenses. Edited May 10, 2021 by michali
michali Posted May 10, 2021 Author Share #10 Posted May 10, 2021 (edited) However as far as updating Leica SL lenses, you can only do the update on an SL camera body. Edited May 10, 2021 by michali

Seymar Posted May 11, 2021 Share #12 Posted May 11, 2021 Sorry that did not work for me. I have tied it with both lenses. There was a brief flash on the LCD and then it went blank.
Seymar Posted May 11, 2021 Share #13 Posted May 11, 2021 Thank you. It worked after a few attempts.
