Solar halo phenomenon plus UFO spotted via Summilux-M 24 mounted on M10-P.

I am lucky enough for spotted and captured a phenomenal 360° halo.

And the bright UFO/UAP found aside from the circular solar halo has brought this picture to the next level and made it more unique, and share-worthy.

Interestingly, all 24mm summilux are sold out at the Leica dealer nears me.  They had 4-5 of this lens stuck in the used inventory for years, as soon as it's discontinued they're slowly gone.  Are there people collecting it?

The Alan Schaller video got me interested in the 24mm Summilux but it was discontinued so I ended up with a 21mm Summilux. I still want to try the 24mm but am very happy with the 21mm.

“Stuck for years”

”Slowly gone”

Strikes me as a poor seller...

24mm 3.8. M10M

with the M10M and high ISO a 1.4 is no longer required. And I prefer compactness.

this is in a wine storage area.

I disagree. The impact of a combination of shallow DOF and wideangle perspective cannot be replicated by a slower lens. See images in this thread. And yours is a good illustration of the opposite.

The 1.4 is not here for speed but for DOF, as latest Summilux batch chief optical designer Peter Karbe suggested several times openly - he wants us (lol) to stop down to regulate depth of field only.
