stuny Posted March 31, 2021 Share #1 Posted March 31, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) The first time we ever saw a tapir in the wild was in the Manu Rainforest (a tributary to the Amazon) in Peru, and it was hours after we bedded down in a blind by a water hole, where our guide cautioned us if we needed to relieve ourselves we should do so many meters away from the water hole. Around midnight we saw one. But the youngster below was apparently not experienced enough not to come out during the day. This is in the Pantanal, Brazil Welcome, dear visitor!
